Baths, Anticon’s newest bragging right, has blessed us with his track Maximalist as we wait for his full length Cerulean to drop on July 6th. Ambient and bubbly, this song oozes with a vibrant pop that has long been untouched by Anticon’s generally dark and brooding aesthetic. “What is love telling me to do right now” and other such phrases are the only vocal samples uttered in the song, endowing the entire track with a practically inspirational aura. With the exception of The Hood Internet’s remix of this track, it has been heavily slept on, so gladly bump Maximalist out of your mom’s 96 Corolla.
